THE WEB SITE OF BRITISH TELEFANTASY |
|
Welcome to the official TIME SCREEN - The Magazine of British Telefantasy web site. Here we intend to publish web versions of all our previous publications and, hopefully, a few new ones along the way.
If you are
unfamiliar with the magazine, let me give you some idea of what we are about:
Time Screen was created to spread enthusiasm and information about telefantasy produced by British television companies. For a definition of telefantasy, it is better that you read the magazine. Our aim is to provide research material for those interested in British Telefantasy and to jog a few memories along the way.
We have always been a non-profit making organisation dependent on the good will of others. As such, all the articles published here were provided by the authors free of charge. Many of the writers contributing to this magazine write professionally and can be contacted through the editorial e-mail address.
Here is a link to a potted history of the magazine entitled "A Brief History of Time Screen" if you wish to find out more.
We pride ourselves on providing accurate information. If you spot any errors in any of our articles or guide please let us know about them.
Our one-off publication, A GUIDE TO AVENGERLAND, is available on the web and I am now working to make every issue of TIME SCREEN accessible.
I hope you enjoy what we have tried to do with TIME SCREEN. Please feel free to drop us a line. As CAPTAIN ZEP would say….
Stay Alert!

OTHER SOURCES OF TIME SCREEN |
|
Some issues of TIME SCREEN can still be obtained from retailers. It will be our policy not to publish any of these issues on the Internet until we are sure that this is no longer the case. In order to hurry this process and to help those stores that supported our efforts through the years, here is a list of commercial sources of back issues of TIME SCREEN.
Part of the Engale Marketing whom originally supported TIME SCREEN in its leap into colour. This is the first point of call for back issues in the UK.
This is an on-line catalogue from Larry's Comic Book Store, Chicago's Oldest Comic Book Store, an long-time supporter of TIME SCREEN. Hence their extensive stock of back issues.
