The White Elephant

In most Indian villages you can find a very large and beautiful tree growing. It is called the Banyan, and when Indira Brown lived in India she spent the hot afternoons sitting in the shade of a Banyan tree, listening while the Elders of the village told stories – about wise maharajahs and mighty elephants, hungry lions and foolish hares.

     
 

There was no Jackanory on Tuesday 13th as there was a Budget Special shown between 03:00pm and 05:50pm.
