Gulliver’s Travels/Gulliver In Space
with Alfred Marks

0000 The Shipwreck 04:45pm-05:00pm Monday, 22nd August 1966

This is the fourth and last week of the return of the favourite stories for the Summer holidays. Summer is the best time for travelling, so Alfred Marks tells again the story of the most famous travels of all, Gulliver’s Travels. The last story brings Gulliver up-to-date with a space-age adventure.

Alfred Marks is appearing in ‘Spring and Port Wine’ at the Apollo Theatre, London.

There are some slight differences in the Radio Times billing between this repeat screening and the original one. The original has part one as Gulliver Starts On His Travels, but the repeat labels it as The Shipwreck. Also, the repeat bills Gulliver in Space as ‘by J.G. Ballard and Anna Home’.
